Most burglars or criminals prefer to be non-confrontational and would always choose to target a house that does not have occupants and are easy break into. Dummy cameras are best installed in areas where they have maximum exposure and could be seen by all outsiders that come within striking distance of your property. And the key to bluffing criminals with a dummy camera is to use one that looks authentic and real. It should be designed with a real-looking lens and should be designed to mimic an actual unit with all the wiring and cords and LED lights to boot. The more authentic it looks, the better it will work at bluffing burglars, criminals and other enemies of peace and order.

Furthermore, if you are already able to afford some devices but would still want some more, you could supplement your current installations using dummy devices like the dummy security camera.

Please be warned though that using fake security contraptions like the dummy camera is not something that you should rely on. As much as possible, use them only as temporary installations with the objective of deterring burglary attempts while you work on acquiring the real and working units.
